Update: The Interviewee Nominated for 2 RTS Midlands Awards 2010!

Studio 279 is delighted to confirm that The Interviewee has been nominated for two Royal Television Society Midlands awards 2010!

The film has received nominations for writer/director David Poole in the Best New Talent category and in the Best Short Film category. This is fantastic news and we could not be more thrilled with the nomination. A big thank you to the people at RTS Midlands, the production team at BBC Birmingham’s Drama Village for their sterling work bringing the film to life, Eleanor Fry and the team from BBC Blast for their support during the whole process and BBC College of Comedy’s Micheal Jacob for mentoring the film from the start.

The ceremony will take place at the University of Birmingham’s Great Hall on Thursday 4th November. It may well be the oldest cliche in the book but it really is an honour to be nominated. For the full list of nominations visit the Screen West Midlands website and to find out more about the work of RTS Midlands visit their webpage.

Drinks all round!
